I ordered Table leg.
Five out of six came with defects (quality defect not delivery defect).
For such price you want quality from the beginning to the end
Plus replacement can not be done before defect part are send back
Plus I had to pay customs fees that I was not aware of ...
I do not recommend
USA customers.... Beware of purchasing light fixtures from FDS. I purchased two beautiful Foscani pendants but they are wired for EU 220volt standards. Since the sell and ship to the USA, you would expect they would at least warn customers that their products will need to be rewired to 110v US standards. Or sell 110v versions to begin with. Their response to my inquiry was fast but their solutions were to return the lights or have them rewired at my expense. At minimum I would have expected a conversion kit be sent to me.

Customer service wrote me they received the item from the manufacturer and will send it next week. We'll see. On the positive side, ppl from customer service are polite and fast at answering

More than 7 weeks have passed since I ordered an item that was available for order. After one month I asked about it and they told me it was expected to be in stock on may 26th, so 11 more days. I waited up to the 29th to ask further info, just to be told the item as yet to arrive in stock without any expected date. I hope I will get my order at some point, or at least my money back.

Ordered 2.5k with of HAY furniture 4 weeks ago... I have still not received my delivery.
Lazy, slow customer service... bad attitude on the phone, just blame it on the delivery Company.
Don’t bother is my advice, go elsewhere even if it cost more. This company is a real east of time.

I was told my deliver was coming today, I whited all day and nothing. Zero response to my email....
Wake up ... ????
Still nothing

Looks like the bast way to speak to this company os on this platform, I get public responses on Trusted Pilot but yet still no reply to my email from last week....
Another reason to go elsewhere. 2.5k still in the hands of this company and zero sight of my furniture!

After on month... now escalated the matter!! Can we just give your money back!!
I am contacting you as I have been briefed by Dan and Maiju about the challenges in the delivery of your order. I am truly sorry for the delay in shipping due to delays in the UPS handling process in the UK and for not meeting the initial estimated delivery date.
As we clearly have not had sufficient help and information from UPS customer service I have now escalated this matter with UPS and am waiting for an update from their end what we can do to get your order delivered. As soon as I hear back from them today I will give you a call/update you via email if cannot reach you.
So at this point, here's how we can proceed:
- wait for new information from UPS
- cancel the order immediately and refund the full amount. Please let me know if you wish to cancel your order.
Again so sorry for the inconvenience, I am sure to look into this carefully with UPS as soon as we can get this resolved for you.

Another week has passed and not only have o still not received my furniture, I still have not got a date for when it will arrive!

I've bought two beautiful posters from MADO and a toilet paper holder from Ferm Living. Perfect.
My favourite shop! I love how quickly they ship orders. They carry loads of items ready to ship, which is a huge benefit when lots of other shops only place orders with suppliers once the customer has placed their order. Customer service is super friendly. Any issues are always promptly resolved. Love the range of items too - I can find my classics here but also some rarer more unexpected items. Thanks FDS! :)

An item ordered 5 weeks ago is stuck at the USPS ISC Service Center indefinitely! They lied about express shipping!! Why ship through USPS? SHAMEFUL! My mailing address is no longer valid effective Monday January 11th and my mail will not be forwarded as the USPS doesn’t forward mail from mailbox centers. So l have now paid several hundred dollars for a lampshade that l will never receive. I will dispute the charge with my credit card company, NEVER SHOPPING WITH FINNISH DESIGN SHOP AGAIN!
I placed an order for String shelving & kitchen accessories totaling E600+, got an email confirmation that it was successful but I never received the goods. After one week my money was refunded without a world of explanation.
I keep receiving marketing emails, but nothing about why didn't they send the order. My client area on Finnish Design Shop website keeps displaying my order as 'is being processed'.
If FDS reads this review they can verify my order number as #563976.
So so bad..
Ended up placing the order with competitor shop from Padova and got my String sent in 3 days!
Ps. Review update. After posting negative review on Trust Pilot website, Finnish Design has finally reached out to explain that my purchase was partially out of stock (something they should have done after I placed the order). Thanks for clarification.
So far my experience online with Finnish Design Shop has been amazing! We have bought many items through our company and I have to say that the product selection, brands, price and customer support is impeccable. The shipping has also surprised me a lot. All the items arrived in perfectly shape and on time. Thank you Finnish Design Shop for the great work and attention to detail!
